Ahoy! You might have noticed that I disappeared from my usual location in Utah between July 8 and July 20 in 2008. If so, kudos. I was, in fact, touring the east of the United States. Some of the places on the left in the navigation area probably sound a bit funny if you're not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but most of them are relevant to the early years of said church.

I decided the best way to tell about my experience was to write about it. Which, for the most part, seemed to work out pretty good. I apologize if any of it is dry...it's kinda hard to make a travel journal interesting. I did try, though. I also apologize for the size of the pictures--however, feel free to download them and examine them in their large glory!

If you have any questions as to the history of the LDS church, or the areas we visited (I tried to be non-partisan, I guess you could call it, as much as possible and kept some of the history out so that I didn't sound like a history book), I would be more than willing to answer any questions you might have. I took two church history classes in school and enjoyed them very much.

Thanks for dropping by!
