My name is Erica. I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho on April 10, 2008 with a B.A. in English. I emphasized in creative writing (as I'm an aspiring author) and minored in Computer Information Technology. As you can likely tell due to the logo in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, I like pirates. I attended Cyprus High School, the home of the pirates, and graduated in 2005. Once a pirate, always a pirate!
The navigation on the left side of your screen is from my CIT 235 class. I created a database of a lot of my movies. Pages are dynamically created by accessing the database every time you click on a different movie title. Neat, eh?
The quotes you see in the column on the right are randomly selected through a scripting language called Javascript. Each time you load any of the pages in my site, it randomly selects one of the hundred quotes from Pirates of the Caribbean I've got stored in a list. I wrote the code for it myself.
I intend to give this site a major overhaul some day, so any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoy your stay!
